Safeguarding

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the resignation of the Archbishop of Canterbury on Tuesday after the publication of the Makin Report, St Matthew’s PCC would like to reassure all those involved with this church that safeguarding is taken extremely seriously here.  We actively seek to comply with all safeguarding guidance and the subject of safeguarding is discussed and reflected upon at every PCC meeting.  If you have any concerns, or would like to know more about how safeguarding is managed at St Matthew’s, please speak to any clergy, or contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer.

As a church, St Matthew's holds the Safeguarding of all children and vulnerable adults as a top priority.
